Main accused in Ctg gang rape case arrested

A team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)- 7 has arrested the main accused of the Banshkhali gang rape case, from Chambal area of Chattogram on Sunday morning.
The accused, Jasim Uddin Prakash alias Putuiya Dakat, 30, had a single barreled gun and a knife in his possession at the time of his arrest.
RAB-7 Assistant Police Super Kazi Tarek Aziz said, "A girl was gang raped in Banshkhali's Chambal area on 19 August 2018. Jasim Uddin was named the main accused in the case. We arrested him on the basis on secret information."
