Science Fest for students held in Rangpur
Various projects were presented group-wise by the students at the event
School children in Rangpur division got a unique opportunity to engage in scientific activities on Friday as students from different schools participated in a science festival.
The festival was aimed at spreading the practice of science among the students through innovative projects, questions and answers, lectures by scientists, robot display, science magic, orientation with various science books and so on.
bKash, the largest mobile financial service provider in Bangladesh, and Biggan Chinta, a leading science related monthly publication, jointly organised the Science Festival at Rangpur Zila School, said a press release.
Various projects were presented group-wise by the students at the event. Top ten projects were selected for the next round.
Such festivals will be organised in other divisional cities also, culminating in the grand finale in Dhaka.
AR Mizanur Rahman, principal of Rangpur Zila School, inaugurated the science fest.
Humayun Kabir, head of Regulatory and Corporate Affairs of bKash, was present at the event, among others.
“Some outstanding projects have been presented by the young talents which will enhance the confidence of the students,” Humayun said.
