RAB detains 3 bandits from Sundarbans
RAB seized three guns, 15 shotgun cartridges, three mobiles and around Tk 15,000 from the spot
The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained three members of a Sundarbans-based bandit group including their leader from Satkhira on Monday.
"RAB seized three guns, 15 shotgun cartridges, three mobiles and around Tk 15,000 from the spot," Lieutenant Colonel Syed Mohammad Nurus Salehin Yousuf said during a media briefing at RAB's Satkhira Office.
"They were caught during a drive conducted by the Khulna RAB-6 to detain fishermen for illegal fishing," he said.

"During the initial interrogation, the head of the bandit group Siddiqi Bahini admitted their connection with fugitive bandit group Zia Bahini," he added.
There are multiple cases filed against bandit group Siddiqi Bahini for robbery and extortion.
