Barrister Suman sued for hurting religious sentiment

A case has been filed against barrister Syed Sayedul Haque Suman, who is popular for his awareness videos on Facebook, for hurting religious sentiments of the Hindus through his comments in a video.
Gautam Kumar, a social worker at the capital, filed the case under the Digital Security Act with Dhaka Cyber Tribunal on Monday.
The tribunal’s judge, Ash-Shams Jaglul Hussein heard the case and ordered the police to investigate and submit the report within 30 days.

On July 20, Barrister Sumon, who is also a Supreme court lawyer, said in a Facebook post that someone is using his name in the social media, trying to defame the Hindu community.
