Some BNP-backed candidates alleged that their agents were obstructed from entering some polling stations
Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), KM Nurul Huda today said the commission has not received any direct complaint about BNP's polling agents are being driven out from some polling centres.
The CEC made the remarks after casting his vote at IES School and College polling centre in Uttara.
He urged the BNP polling agents to inform presiding officers immediately if anyone obstructs them from entering into the polling centres.

Nurul Huda also ordered the magistrate to take prompt action if they get any such complaints from any polling agent of BNP and take them back to the centres again.
Earlier, some BNP-backed candidates alleged that their agents were obstructed from entering some polling stations.
He said the overall election situation is satisfactory and the number voter will increase in the late hours of the day.
"It is the responsibility of candidates to bring the voters to the polling centres, we have created the congenial poll atmosphere," he said.
The CEC also said, "People have taken the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) vote process positively and people are happy with the process."
CEC also said he did not want such election referring the low voter turnout in the polling centres
Nurul Huda urged the member of law enforcement agencies to take required steps to maintain election-friendly environment and tackle any unpleasant incident.
