Papiya cases handed over to RAB
The Detective Branch of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police handed over the cases to Rab on Tuesday
The Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) will investigate three cases filed against Shamima Nur Papiya, expelled general secretary of Jubo Mohila League's Narsingdi district unit.

Major Hussain Roisul Azom Moni, deputy director of Rab's legal and media wing, confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.
On February 22, Papiya, her husband and their accomplices were arrested from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka when they were trying to flee the country. The RAB seized counterfeit notes, foreign currency and around Tk2.5 lakh from their possession.
Later, RAB officials filed three cases against Papiya under the arms, money laundering, and anti-drug act.
