JCI Dhaka East initiative is providing a week's worth of essentials to the underprivileged families under the banner "Cheers for Humanity".
The initiative kicked off on Saturday with the aim of distributing 350 packages that will cater to 350 families in 4 impoverished areas.
The areas are Bauniabandh, Gudaraghat, Binnabon and Rupnagar.
In retrospect of the hardest-hit group of the global COVID-19 epidemic who rely on their daily income for basic sustenance and the ongoing lockdown enforced in Bangladesh, JCI Dhaka East initiated Cheers for Humanity to lend a helping hand.
As the price of essential commodities is on the rise, their team of volunteers have worked tirelessly to prepare the family essential packages.
