Asian University for Women hosts two-week programme to enhance students' computer skills
Asian University for Women, in collaboration with Stanford University, has organised the CS Bridge programme to improve its students' problem-solving and computer programming skills.
The programme started on 2 July at Asian University for Women and will end on 14 July.
The CS Bridge Programme is a two-week intensive programme developed by the Computer Science Department at Stanford University to expand access to high-quality, human-centric computer science education beyond the campus.
Through inclusive projects and initiatives, Stanford University aims to broaden access to computer science education for students from diverse backgrounds and regions, read a press release.
An event is scheduled to be held at 11:15 pm on 14 July at the Asian University for Women campus in Chattogram to award certificates among the participants of the CS Bridge programme.
Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud is expected to attend the event as the chief guest. Kamal Ahmed, founder of the Asian University for Women, will also be present on the occasion.
