Seven new state ministers set to take oath this evening

The newly appointed state ministers are Rajshahi-5 Constituency Member of Parliament Md Abdul Wadud, Naogaon-2 MP Md Shahiduzzaman Sarker, Chattogram-14 MP Md Nazrul Islam Chowdhury, and lawmakers from reserved women seats- MP Begum Shamsunnahar, MP Wasika Ayesha Khan, MP Naheed Ezaher Khan and MP Rokeya Sultana.
President Mohammad Sahabuddin will administer their oaths at Bangabhaban in the presence of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and other high officials of the government.
On 11 January, a 37-member cabinet, including 26 ministers and 11 state ministers, was sworn in after the 12th Jatiya Sangsad election.
