Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, the former captain of Bangladesh cricket team, has been an inspirational character on and off the field. He spoke about his career and beyond in the last episode of Tamim Iqbal's live show.
Mortaza revealed the three persons he always calls before a match. "Be it an international match, a Dhaka League match or a practice match, I always call my mother, my wife and my maternal uncle as I share a very strong bond with them," Mortaza mentioned.
Mortaza talked about the two instances when he could not control himself and literally broke down. Recently he stepped down from ODI captaincy during Zimbabwe's tour of Bangladesh which made him emotional. The other one was back in 2011 when we was left out of the squad for the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup.

Mortaza recalled his fastest spell which he bowled almost nineteen years ago. It was during the 2001 New Zealand tour. He was up against Craig McMillan, Adam Parore and Chris Cairns. His seven-over spell after tea he believes was his fastest spell. He was consistently bowling at over 140 Kilometres per hour and a number of times he exceeded the 145-mark.
