Nasim has been tested negative for the coronavirus for the second time today
Former health minister Mohammad Nasim will be kept under observation for 72 hours as his health condition remains unchanged.
Nasim has been tested negative for the coronavirus for the second time today.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bangladesh Specialized Hospital Al Imran Chowdhury confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.
Earlier on Monday the medical board, which was formed over his treatment, took the decision that Mohammad Nasim will be kept under life support at the incentive care unit.
"Mohammad Nasim is still unconscious and his condition remains unchanged," Professor Dr Raziul Haque, who led the medical team, said on Monday.
On June 1, Nasim was admitted to Bangladesh Specialised Hospital with Covid-19 symptoms, including fever and cold.
He later tested positive for the virus. Then, after suffering a brain hemorrhage, he underwent brain surgery at the hospital on Saturday.
Nasim is a diabetic patient. He had suffered a stroke before.
