Janata Bank donates one day's salary of its employees to flood victims
In a show of solidarity with those affected by the recent floods in Bangladesh, Janata Bank Plc has donated an amount equivalent to one day's salary of its officers and employees at all levels to the Chief Adviser's Relief and Welfare Fund.
The donation is intended to provide much-needed assistance to flood victims in Feni, Chattogram, Cumilla, Noakhali, Sunamganj, and Habiganj, reads a press release.
"During this time of crisis, it is important for us to stand united with our fellow citizens," said Md Abdul Jabbar, managing director of Janata Bank Plc.
"We are committed to serving the needs of our country and its people, and this donation is a reflection of that commitment," he added.
