24 stranded Bangladeshis return from India

Twenty-four Bangladeshi nationals, who got stranded in India due to the country's coronavirus lockdowns, returned to Bangladesh trough Akhaura international immigration check post in Brahmanbaria on Saturday.
Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Akhaura international immigration check post police Morshedul Haque confirmed the news of their return.
All of them have been sent to the institutional quarantine center of Bijoynagar upazila health complex in the district, said the concerned authorities.

ASI Morshedul Islam said, "The Bangladeshi nationals were stranded in different parts of India due to lockdowns imposed to prevent the spread coronavirus within the country."
"Later they reached Agartala and got stuck again as the Agartala integrated check post was temporarily shut down as seven Border Security Force (BSF) members working there got infected by coronavirus."
"The Bangladeshi nationals returned to the country today (Saturday) as the operations at the Agartala integrated check post restarted this morning", added ASI Morshedul.
