Play was unable to begin on time on day three of the second Test between India and Bangladesh at Kanpur due to overnight rain and a wet outfield.
The good news is that there is no rain so far and there will be an inspection from the umpires at 12:00 pm (12:30 pm Bangladesh time) local time.
There was an inspection earlier at 10:00 am local time where the umpires checked the outfield and there were wet patches in many parts for which play could not start on time,
The covers however have come off after being on for the most part on day two and overnight.
No play was possible on the second day either due to rain while on day one, only 35 overs were played.
Bangladesh scored 107-3 in that time after being put in to bat by India with Mominul Haque top scoring with 40 not out.
India lead the two-match Test series 1-0 after winning the first Test.
