DMP files 735 cases, fines Tk29.63 lakh for traffic violations
The Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 735 cases and realised Tk29,63,000 as fine in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.
The cases were filed and fines imposed on 28 September, a DMP release said today.
During the drive, a total of 132 vehicles were impounded and 71 others towed.
