A horrifying tap on the back!
The shocked passenger was trembling in fear and confusion.
A passenger was waiting for a taxi in front of a hospital. Finally, he found a taxi and got into it in hurry. The passenger gave the taxi driver his address with proper instructions on where to go. After giving the address, the passenger relaxed on the back seat.
Within 10 minutes, the passenger noticed that the taxi was not going in the right direction. The driver was supposed to take right turn, but instead, he took a wrong turn towards a very dark and quiet road.
The passenger was astonished but did not say anything until he realized where the car was headed.
The perplexed passenger understood what road they were on. It was the road that would take them to the grave yard.
From his back seat, he tried to talk to the driver, who seemed very gloomy and unenthusiastic. At this point, the passengers got a little bit scared.
He tapped the driver on his shoulder to ask him what was he thinking of doing.
In a fraction of moment, the driver screamed, lost control of the car, nearly hit a bus, and landed on the sidewalk, stopping inches away from a shop window.
For a second, everything was quiet in the car. The shocked passenger was trembling in fear and confusion.
Suddenly, the driver turned around and said, "Look, mate, do not ever do that again. You scared the living daylights out of me!"
The passenger got confused but he still apologized and said, "I did not realise that a little tap would scare you so much. But think of what you were doing. You were going in the wrong direction, which was going lead would us to a grave yard. What do you think you were doing"?
The driver heaved a sigh of relief and said, "Sorry, sorry, it was my mistake, since I picked you up from in front of the hospital. Actually, this is the only road I used every day on my previous job-- I've been driving a funeral van for the last 25 years. And I couldn't think of having a tap from my passenger from that job. Today is my first day as a cab driver."
