Mac Miller's estate to publish new book commemorating rapper's life
Miller died of an accidental overdose in September 2018 when he was only 26 years old
'The Book of Mac: Remembering Mac Miller' a book about Mac Miller's life and music, has been revealed by his estate. The novel, written by Donna-Claire Chesman, will honor the late rapper's legacy by telling stories from those who knew him.
For the novel, Chesman reportedly spent a year interviewing Miller's friends and associates, including the famous artists Thundercat, Syd, Wiz Khalifa, Kehlani, and others.
The Book Of Mac offers "a vivid and poignant portrait of this astonishing artist - one who had just released a series of increasingly complex albums, demonstrating what a musical force he was and how heartbreaking it was to lose him," according to an Amazon description of the book.
The book is available for pre-order now and it is set for release on October 26.
Miller died of an accidental overdose in September 2018 when he was only 26 years old. Vince Staples, Ty Dolla $ign, Disclosure, and others paid tribute to the artist earlier this year on what would have been his 29th birthday.
