Mac Miller’s second posthumous album ‘Balloonerism’ to be released
Mac Miller's second posthumous album, 'Balloonerism', arrives Friday, 17 January, alongside a short animated film of the same name.
Directed by Samuel Jerome Mason, the film "follows a group of school friends who are transfigured by the music of a chord organ and launched into a shadow world. Swallowed by the turtle of time, they must plod through the underbelly of adulthood," according to its synopsis.
Global screenings will be held, including in New York City, Pittsburgh, Australia, Germany, and the UK.
Recorded during the 'Watching Movies with the Sound Off' era, 'Balloonerism' has long been anticipated by fans. Its official release was hinted at Camp Flog Gnaw in November, with Miller's team emphasising its significance to his artistic legacy.
