Thoughts
Aleem has come to the thought shop again. He usually buys cheap, ordinary thoughts. Today, he somehow felt like trying something different, something he never thought of. Leaning over the counter, he pointed at a thought jar and asked, 'How much does that one cost?'
The shopkeeper mysteriously smiles. He says, 'This one is a bit expensive. But it is pure, unadulterated. For you, I will charge 3,000.'
Aleem felt uneasy. It is not as though he does not have the money, but the price seems too high. But the thought is pure—he, along with many others, is used to thoughts that are diluted and mixed. This thought intrigues him.
'Alright, I will take it.'
For two weeks, Aleem has been buying into these thoughts. But soon, he notices that people around him are starting to look at him with suspicion and doubt. He can not understand why.
Then, one night, a group of men suddenly enters his house.
As they cuff his hands, one of them says, 'Unauthorised thoughts always get caught. Let us go; we are arresting you.'
