Two web-series starring Zakia Bari Mamo’s to be released in August
Zakia Bari Mamo has just revealed two upcoming web series scheduled to debut on separate OTT platforms in August. The first, 'Sharey Showlo', was directed by Yasir Al Haque and the second one, 'Agochora', by Siddiq Ahamed.
'Sharey Showlo' presents an enigmatic narrative that unfolds on a mysterious hotel floor. Mamo assumes the character of Rini in the story, a well-known television journalist who possesses influential ties to prominent individuals in the city.
'Agochora' explores old Dhaka's underworld, where political influences intertwine with the life of an ordinary young boy, pushing him into criminal activities. Mamo plays the role of Monika.

Mamo's recent portrayals in movies 'Ora 7 Jon' and 'Radio' revolve around the historical backdrop of the great liberation war, earning her accolades and admiration from viewers.
