Four-day match of Bangladesh HP on course for a draw

The four-day match between Bangladesh HP and Sri Lanka HP is leading towards a draw as the visitors trail by 170 runs after the end of day three.
The visitors started the day on 101/4 after off-spinner Nayeem Hasan picked up four wickets to put Bangladesh HP in a strong position. Ashen Bandara and Promod Maduwantha continued to prolong their unbeaten partnership of 42 runs overnight, but was eventually broken by Tanvir Islam as Maduwantha was trapped LBW for 40. Ramesh Mendis went for 18 off Shafiqul Islam but Bandara went on to pick up his fifty and stayed unbeaten on 57 at the end of days play, accompanied by Chamika Karunaratne.
Earlier, Bangladesh HP had scored 360 as Nazmul Hossain scored 133, with Afif Hossain and Zakir Hasan scoring 54 and 49 respectively.
The final day will be played on Friday, and the match is on its way to a draw as a result looks highly unlikely with two more innings still to be played.
