Before the all-important final, skipper Mahmudullah Riyad said that Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is the most successful captain of Bangladesh Cricket and his inclusion in the team has boosted the whole side.
"Undoubtedly his inclusion boosted our side. He is the best captain our cricket ever had, his experience has helped the team to gel together and perform better," said Mahmudullah.
Mashrafe bagged his first five-wicket haul in T20 cricket in the first qualifier against Gazi Group Chattogram.
