Mashrafe’s children test positive for Covid-19
Despite being tested positive both of them are in good condition, Mashrafe himself confirmed it to The Business Standard.
Both of Mashrafe Bin Mortaza's children tested positive for Covid-19. His daughter, Humayra tested positive 11 days ago. After her, his son Sahel tested positive a few days ago as well.
Despite being tested positive both of them are in good condition, Mashrafe himself confirmed it to The Business Standard. "I really don't know how they got affected. It's been 11 days since Humayra tested positive, Sahel's news came 4 days ago," Mashrafe told The Business Standard.
They did have a fever at first, but currently showing no symptoms at all. They are receiving treatment from home. "They are still children, we couldn't really keep them away for treatment. But their health conditions are okay now. The rest depends on the Almighty," Mashrafe added.
Mashrafe and his family have been having a tough time during the pandemic. He was the first among his family members to test positive for the virus. Gradually his wife, his brother, and parents tested positive and recovered from the virus. Now his children have been affected.
Mashrafe couldn't return to cricket after the long break while most of his teammates were back to the field. He was supposed to return to training this month, but that too has been halted now for his children testing positive for Covid-19.
