Mehidy Hasan Miraz named Bangladesh vice-captain for Champions Trophy
The squad is set to leave for Dubai later tonight, 13 January, to begin preparations for their opening match against India on 20 February.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has named Mehidy Hasan Miraz as Bangladesh's vice-captain for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, confirming the decision with a press release on 13 February .
The squad is set to leave for Dubai later tonight to begin preparations for their opening match against India on 20 February.
Following that fixture, they will travel to Pakistan for their remaining Group A games, facing New Zealand on 24 February before taking on the hosts on 27 February.
Recently named the player of the tournament in the BPL for his all-round performances, the 27-year-old Miraz has featured in 103 ODIs and also captained Bangladesh in the West Indies when Najmul Hossain Shanto was sidelined with injury.
Meanwhile, the BCB has also confirned that fast bowlers Hasan Mahmud and Khaled Ahmed will join the squad in Dubai for training.
