Nayeem Hasan set to be ruled out from the ongoing Bangabandhu T20 Cup due to an injury on right little-finger, Beximco Dhaka has confirmed. He will be the third player to be ruled out due to injury after Mominul Haque and Abu Jayed Rahi.
Nayeem was not in the Dhaka XI against Gemcon Khulna last Thursday. However, the young spinner came down to field as the twelfth player. He injured his finger while fielding. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief physician Debashish Chowdhury said that a crack was found in his finger.
'Nayeem has a little crack in his finger. He injured the little finger of his right hand. We will have a little discussion with the orthopaedic tomorrow. Then we will make a decision. We have an appointment for tomorrow morning," Debashish told The Business Standard.
