German government pledges full support for Bangladesh's democratic transition process
Chancellor Olaf Scholz has said that the German government will provide all-out support to Bangladesh's democratic transition process. He made the remarks during a bilateral meeting with Professor Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor to the interim government of Bangladesh, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on January 21, local time. During the meeting, Professor Yunus briefed the German Chancellor about the interim government's reform program. At that time, Olaf Scholz told the chief advisor, "You can be assured that we will support you."
