Thailand mandates 14-day quarantine at govt approved hotels
A nurse will be on call 24/7 who will take temperature and do a health check twice per day
Thailand government has declared that all travellers must be in a 14-day quarantine at government-approved hotels upon their arrival in the country from October.
The hotels that have been approved by Thailand's Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Defence, cover a wide price range from THB 28,000 (about $900) to THB 220,000 (about $7,000) for the two-week quarantine.
These selected hotels have packages that have to be pre-booked. These packages include three meals per day, free WiFi, complimentary welcome drinks, and private car transfer from either Don Mueang Airport or Suvarnabhumi Airport.
A nurse will be on call 24/7 who will take temperature and do a health check twice per day. The package also includes two Covid-19 tests that take place on the 5th and 13th day of quarantine. Any traveller having a fever of 37.5 degrees or more, will be transferred to the hospital.
