2 drug peddlers held with 235kg marijuana in Pabna
Sensing the presence of the team the gang of international drug dealers tried to escape on a speeding car.
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) today detained two drug dealers with 235 kilograms of marijuana and a car from Pabna.
The detainees are Mahfuzar Rahman, 39 and Jewel Rana, 28.
"Being tipped of that a large amount of drug was being smuggled, a team of RAB set up a check post on the road," Acting Commander of RAB-12 Md Aminul Kabir said.

The drug dealers had been supplying marijuana from India to various northern districts of the country, he added.
A case has been filed with Pabna Police Station in this connection.
