3 of a family killed in Cumilla road crash
A speeding truck hit their auto-rickshaw at the Chawra Road area around 3:45 pm, leaving Hanif dead on the spot and five others injured
There members of a family, including a father and his daughter, were killed when a truck hit an auto-rickshaw in Chauddagram upazila of Cumilla district on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Md Hanif, his daughter Meri Begum, and Meri's daughter Mehjabin, hailing from Siziyara village of Nangalkot upazila in the district.
A speeding truck hit their auto-rickshaw at the Chawra Road area around 3:45 pm, leaving Hanif dead on the spot and five others injured, said Chauddagram Fire Service and Civil Defence In-charge, Yasin Prodhani.

Later, the injured were taken to Chaddogram Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared two of them dead, the official added.
