The 8th Non-Fiction book fair, organised jointly by Faculty of Business Studies of Dhaka University and Bonik Barta, began today (28 December) on the Faculty of Business Studies premises.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan inaugurated the fair as the chief guest.

The bond created here between teachers, students, researchers, and readers is truly encouraging for us.
"Since 2015, being a part of such an initiative has been a source of pride for our Faculty of Business Studies," he added.
Syed Zakir Hossain, from Adorn Publications, highlighted the importance of knowledge dissemination for societal development, while Mahrukh Mohiuddin of University Press Limited stressed the need for free expression within the publishing sector.
Mohammed Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, representing the Chittagong Stock Exchange, praised the initiative's potential for societal benefit through business and economics.
