Despite the fascist Awami League government being ousted, its supporters are engaging in various conspiracies to undermine the efforts of the interim government, Jamaat Secretary General Professor Mia Golam Parwar said today (28 September).
"Isolated from the people, the Awami League is ramping up its efforts to incite anarchy in the country," he said while speaking as the chief guest at the District Jamaat's Rukon Conference and Sudhi assembly at the District Arts Academy Auditorium.
"This shameless party has pushed the nation to the brink of destruction through discrimination and corruption across various sectors, including employment," he added.
Addressing the interim government, the Jamaat leader stated that it should step down honorably after facilitating a free and participatory election.
Jamaat's District Ameer and Central Majlis Shura Member Advocate Ataur Rahman Bachchu presided over the Rukon Conference.
Other speakers included Jamaat district secretary and former vice-chairman of Narail Sadar Upazila Parishad Maulana Md Obaidullah Qaiser, former district Ameer Maulana Mirza Ashek Elahi, and Jamaat leaders Md Ayub Hossain Khan, Md Alamgir Hossain, and district president of Chhatra Shibir Md Mehedi Hasan.
