Body of missing student recovered in Munshiganj

Police have recovered the tied-up body of a missing student from an agricultural land in Char Banglabazar area of Munshiganj Sadar upazila.
Police recovered the body around 3:30pm today (12 February) after receiving information.
A sharp knife was found beside the body during the recovery, said police.
The victim was identified as Shahjalal Bepari, 17, son of Anwar Bepari from Razabarir Char area under Dighirpar union in the district's Tongibari upazila and an eighth-grader at the local Dighirpar AC Institution.
According to police, the victim went missing after leaving his house last night (11 February).
Contacted, Officer-in-charge of Munshiganj Sadar police station Saiful Alam said, "The body has been sent to the morgue of Munshiganj General Hospital for autopsy. Legal steps are currently underway over the incident."
