BTV headquarters set on fire, with many trapped inside: Station
Protesters set fire to the headquarters of Bangladesh's state broadcaster BTV with "many people" trapped inside its offices, the network said in a post on its verified Facebook page.
The station posted on Facebook about an hour ago, "Terrible fire at BTV. Spreading rapidly. Hoping for prompt assistance from the fire service. Many are trapped inside."
A group of students also vandalised the TV Station, including breaking the main gate, and setting it on fire around 2:45pm.

Their staff vehicles parked in surrounding roads were also vandalised, our correspondent reports.
