A fire broke out at a factory of the Givensee Group in the Monipur area of Gazipur this afternoon (30 January).

Mohammad Mamun, deputy assistant director of Gazipur Fire Service, confirmed the incident, stating, "The fire started at around 1:30pm at the Jahin Recycling Plant."

"No casualties have been reported so far, and the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are yet to be determined," he added.
