Colonel KM Azad has been appointed as the additional director general of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Tuesday.
He will replace Colonel Tofayel Mustafa Sorwar, a press release said, adding that he has taken up the charge immediately.
On 9 March, KM Azad joined the RAB on deputation.
