Main accused suspended gardener Rabiul Islam has confessed to attacking Ghoraghat Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Wahida Khanam and her father Omar Ali.
He gave confessional statement before a Dinajpur court today.
On September 3, UNO Wahida and her father were brutally attacked inside their government quarter.

Wahida's elder brother Sheikh Farid Uddin filed a case on September 3 against 4-5 unknown people at Ghoraghat Police Station over the incident.
Later, on September 11, Robiul Islam, 43, who had been suspended from his post of the gardener over a theft case, was detained from his house.
