Attorney General Mahbubey Alam has expressed satisfaction over the sensational Nusrat Jahan Rafi murder case.
He commented that the verdict was a milestone for the country's judiciary system.
Judge Mamunur Rashid of Feni's special tribunal for the Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal today sentenced all 16 accused, including the prime accused SM Siraj-ud-Doula, to death.

As a response to the verdict, the state's chief law officer further commented that the decision has been justly made.
"The verdict will be finalized in the High Court and it is a matter of the court to decide who among the 16 will walk the gallows.
"I am personally satisfied that the trial has been completed in such a short time," the attorney general added.
