Derailment halts rail link with Sylhet
Rescue operation of the derailed train underway.
The rail communication of Sylhet was halted with the other parts of the country after two bogies of a cargo train derailed at Boromchal of Kulaura in Moulvibazar this morning.
The fertilizer-laden train was going to Chattogram from Fenchuganj of Sylhet.
"Rescue work is underway and the rail communication will be restored after two hours," said Sylhet Rail Station Manager Shohidul Islam.
