DNCC extends deadline for holding tax rebate to 31 Dec
Deadline for renewing trade licence without surcharge has also been extended
The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has extended the deadline for providing a 10% rebate on holding tax till 31 December to home taxpayers under its jurisdiction.
To avail the rebate, taxpayers will have to pay the four instalments of the holding tax for 2020-21 fiscal year together, including the dues, according to a press release on Tuesday.
Besides, the deadline for renewing trade licence without surcharge has also been extended to 31 December 2020.

DNCC Mayor Atiqul Islam has urged the home taxpayers to take the 10% rebate by paying the holding tax instalments together and with dues, within the extended period.
He also urged the traders to grab the opportunity to renew their trade licences without surcharge within the same period, the release adds.
