The Dhaka University student, who was tortured and raped in the capital, has identified the main culprit today.
She identified the man after Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) showed her picture of the perpetrator who was detained from Dhaka in connection with the incident on Tuesday, said RAB-1 Commanding Officer Lt Col Shafiullah Bulbul.
The elite force has shown the culprit arrested, said the RAB official.

The victim, a second-year student of the University of Dhaka, was picked up by a stranger after she got down from the university bus in Kurmitola area in the capital on Sunday evening.
She was then taken to a secret place, where she was raped and tortured.
