HSC exams: Zero pass in 65 institutions

This year, no students from 65 educational institutions across the country passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations, according to the results published today (15 October).
The number of such institutions in 2023 was 42 and 50 in 2022.
A total of 1,331,058 students sat for this year's HSC and equivalent exams from 9,187 institutions around the country.
The highest 20 institutions under Dinajpur Education Board recorded a 100% failure rate.
Dhaka board recorded eight institutions with a zero pass rate, 12 in Rajshahi, four in Cumilla, seven in Jashore, five in Chattogram, and four in Mymensingh.
In contrast, there were no institutions with zero pass rates under Sylhet and Barishal boards.
Additionally, two institutions under the Madrasah Education Board and three under the Technical Education Board recorded zero pass rates.
1,388 institutions achieve 100% success
Meanwhile, a total of 1,388 educational institutions across the country achieved a 100% pass rate.
Of those, 57 institutions are under Dhaka Education Board, 35 in Rajshahi, 10 in Cumilla, 13 in Jashore, 13 in Chattogram, 21 in Barishal, eight in Sylhet, 15 in Dinajpur and five in Mymensingh.
Additionally, the number of institutions with a 100% pass rate under the Madrasah Education Board is 961 and 250 under the Technical Education Board.
Last year, the number of educational institutions with a 100% pass rate was 953.
