Police have arrested Asma Sultana Juthi, president of the Bhola upazila unit of the jubo mohila league, from her residence in Pirojpur's Bhandaria municipal area.
The arrest took place yesterday (4 December), following an operation conducted at her home.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhandaria police station, Ahmed Anwar, confirmed the arrest, stating, "There are multiple cases against Asma Sultana Juthi in both Bhandaria and Pirojpur police stations. The arrest was made by a joint operation of Pirojpur Sadar police and the district detective branch (DB) at her residence."

OC Abdus Sobahan of Pirojpur Sadar police station said Juthi was arrested in connection with cases involving a cocktail explosion and vandalism at the Pirojpur district BNP office.
"She has been sent to jail following her appearance in court," he added.
