Man dies of dengue at DMCH
A man died of dengue at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in the capital on Saturday midnight.
The deceased, Fazlur Rahman, 55, hailed from South Banasree area of Dhaka.
DMCH Director Brigadier General AKM Nasir Uddin confirmed the death of Fazlur Rahman who had been admitted to the hospital with fever three days before he died.
According to the DMCH sources, 96 new dengue patients have been admitted to the hospital in the past 24 hours and 163 patients returned home after treatment.
Currently, 496 dengue patients are being treated in the hospital.
