National Professor Dr Talukder Moniruzzaman passes away
The 81-year-old professor of Dhaka University was taken to the ICU of the hospital on December 9 after an ischemic stroke.
National Professor and political scientist Dr Talukder Moniruzzaman has passed away early Sunday in the capital's Apollo Hospitals.
The 81-year-old professor of Dhaka University was taken to the ICU of the hospital on December 9 after an ischemic stroke.
"His namaz-e-janaza will be held at the central mosque of the Dhaka University after Asr prayer. Afterward, he will be buried at the family graveyard in Gazipur," said his son Sadid Munir.

Talukder Maniruzzaman was born in Tarakandi village under the Sirajganj district on 1 July 1938. His father Abdul Majid Talukder was a schoolteacher.
