She was buried at her family graveyard at Kalapaharia in Araihazar upazila of Narayanganj
Nurjahan Begum, the wife of the Department of Social Services' former director late Abdur Rashid, has passed away on Friday at 10:30 am due to old age-related complications.
She was buried at her family graveyard at Kalapaharia in Araihazar upazila of Narayanganj, following her first funeral prayer in Dhaka and second funeral prayer at Kalapaharia
She is survived by three sons, two daughters, and grandchildren, Pubali Bank said in a press statement on Tuesday.

One of her sons, Md Mizanur Rahman, is a public relations officer of Pubali Bank Limited and region chairperson of Lions Clubs International, District 315A1.
