Online application for 47th BCS will now begin on 29 December
Initially, the application period was slated for 10-31 December but was postponed
The online application process for the 47th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination is scheduled to begin on 29 December after an initial drawback.
In a notice issued today (12 December), the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) said the application process will continue till 30 January, closing at 11:59pm.
The notice said a correction regarding the application fee and the number distribution will soon be published.

The postponement followed a circular published by BPSC on 28 November, which announced 3,688 vacancies for the 47th BCS exam.
The circular detailed opportunities across various cadres and generated significant interest among aspirants nationwide.
