PBI takes protection of witnesses of Nusrat murder case
13 witnesses from 92 testified before the court
Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) Chief Banaj Kumar Majumder on Saturday said that PBI has taken all the necessary precautions for ensuring the security of all the witnesses of Nusrat murder case.
“The witnesses are under police surveillance so that no one can influence them,” said PBI police chief at a debate competition held at Bangladesh Film Development Corporation.
So far 13 witnesses from 92 testified before the court. The future of this case depends on the testimony of witnesses starting from 13 to 32, he added.
Debate for Democracy organised the competition titled “Brave Nusrat: You are the logic, you are the protest”.
Siddheswari Girls' College and University of South Asia participated in the debate competition where University of South Asia won the debate.
