Police detain several Jamaat-e-Islami members in Dhaka

Police has conducted a raid on Wednesday around 9pm at Aziz Co-operative building in the capital's Vijay Nagar area and detained several Jamaat-e-Islami members from there.
Sheikh Mohammed Shamim, assistant commissioner (AC) of Ramna zone confirmed the matter.
He said some Jamaat-e-Islami members were arrested on the basis of secret information. The operation is still going on. Details regarding the drive will be given later.
