Discussions on reforms with political parties will begin tomorrow (15 February), Industries and Public Works Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan has said.
The adviser disclosed the information while speaking to reporters at the Shiksha Chattar in front of the High Court gate in the capital today (14 February).
"We want to restore the rights of the people of the country. Fascism will not be able to rise again in Bangladesh under the new system," he said.
The adviser spoke to reporters there after paying tribute to the martyrs of the anti-autocracy protest against military dictator Hussein Muhammad Ershad in 1983, marking Autocracy Resistance Day.
Various organisations including the BNP, Samajtantrik Chhatra Front, Anti-Sovereignty Chhatra Parishad, leaders and activists of the '82-'90s student movement, Biplobi Chhatra Maitree, 90's DUCSU Sarbadaliya Chhatra Oikya, and Pahari Chhatra Front also paid tribute to the martyrs of that movement.
