Digital Khichuri Challenge holds Women’s Day edition Peace Talk Café

The 9th edition of the Peace Talk Café of Digital Khichuri Challenge (DKC) was organised on International Women's Day with a view to tackling violence against women in the digital space.

DKC is powered by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Bangladesh.
Executive Director of the Center For Policy Dialogue Dr Fahmida Khan; DU Law Department Associate Professor Taslima Yasmin; The Daily Star's Senior Editorial Assistant Shuprova Tasneem; Regional Movement Builder of SheDecides Syeda Samara Mortada, and Actress and Radio Foorti RJ Sarah Alam were in the panel.
Project Manager of UNDP Bangladesh Robert Stoelman handed over the crests and gifts to the panelists at the end of the dialogue.
The moderator for the event was Nobonita Chowdhury, Director of Preventing Violence Against Women Initiative, Brac.
She introduced the panelists to the audience and hosted the Q&A session where members of the audience expressed their views.
The noteworthy panel presented their views on the alarming rate of online abuse targeted towards women, making the digital space safer for women and offered insights from their respective fields.
The audience and the panelists partook in a conversation in the midway of the event.
